Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on March 16, 1984, at Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and well-known comedians. Bea was on the show with Stephen Fry on QI. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan (born 16 March 1984) more popularly known as Aisling Bea, is an Irish actress writer and comedian. Bea's professional career started in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic after she appeared in small parts in Irish and British TV shows that began in the year 2009. In 2012, she began appearing in sketch comedy shows as well as sitcoms and similar programming. After she was awarded an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards (ECA), she started to appear frequently in panel programs. From 2016 to 2017 she served as the team captain for 8 Out of 10 Cats and a regular contestant on the sequel 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she has one sibling named Sinead. She was only the second ever woman to win So You Think You're Funny. The surname she uses is Bea to honor her late father. Aisling O'Sullivan, whose real name is as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town, which is located in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who took his own life when she was only three years old. Bea didn't learn how her father died until after she turned thirteen. The stage name she chose was Bea as a tribute to her father. She also she wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about the family's suicide experience. Bea was raised alongside her sister Sinead by Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer and a former professional racer. The family was obsessed with horses and racing. Bea started her journey as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However, she realized early on that racing was not for her.
